The small red wooden cottage „Pippi’s Cottage“ was newly built in 2023 and is located on a small, idyllic farm („Pippi’s Farm“) with many animals (mini Shetland ponies, sheep, cats, dog), which often graze directly at the house and are trusting.
The floor area of the house is 30 square metres plus a sleeping loft (10 square metres), which can be reached by climbing up a ladder.
The house is insulated and winter-proof and has a modern kitchenette (ceramic hob/oven/dishwasher etc), a wood-burning stove (also with cooking/baking facilities), wooden floorboards and underfloor heating in the bathroom. It also has a heat pump/ air conditioning. Wifi included.
„Pippi’s Cottage“ is located separately with its own car park on the farm with its own garden, terrace and wooden furniture & deckchairs and invites you to relax.
There is a sauna (wood-burning stove) in its own sauna house, which can also be used (for a fee), as well as a sewage pond where you can also take a dip.
„Pippi’s Farm“ is located in the middle of the Småland nature and is still only 3 km away from Tingsryd – many small & large lakes are nearby and the nearest larger towns (Växjö, Ronneby and Karlsham on the Baltic Sea) are all about 42 km away.
It is also possible to hire SUP boards (stand up paddling) or book a course or excursions with them.
